I love all kinds of music from dance, to pop, rock, R&B, oldies and cheesy tunes!
What is your favourite TV show?
I like the Louis Thoreux type documentaries, Watchdog, Rogue Traders, The Apprentice & Dragons' Den.
What do you do in your spare time?
Make up more stupid jokes for the show
What is your biggest achievement so far?
Hmmm. I've done a lot of great things which I'm proud of; working in Hollywood, producing a Billboard
number one hit single in America, working on a Grammy nominated single, having my radio show
syndicated to 75 stations worldwide to name just a few. They are my biggest "career" achievements.
On a "personal" level, I'd say becoming a dad on my birthday in 2008. This was actually the best thing to ever happen to me.
Why did you want to become involved with Salford City Radio?
I've been involved with Salford "Community" Radio for over 8 years, producing voice overs, jingles, managing stations etc. I'm one of only a few who have been with the station from the very beginning. Strangely enough, I am now running another business with one of the co-founders of Salford
Community Radio. I originally wanted to just keep my foot in the radio door having done Kiss 102 / Galaxy 102 etc. I didn't think I'd be Studio Manager one day! Before I got offered the job as Studio Manager my life was a mess; I lost my job, broke my foot and couldn't walk for 6 weeks, found out that a family member had a serious illness, split up with my partner, became homeless and then my daughter died .......
Salford City Radio rescued me!!!!!!! I owe a lot to Steve the Station Manager for keeping my head above the water, as they say.
What does your show bring to the people of Salford?
Fun and laughter! I love making people laugh.
Who would you interview if you could choose absolutely anybody, and what would you ask?
I'd interview Sting - "is it true you've got a Police record?"
Whats the best thing that's ever happened to you?
Becoming a dad on my birthday... although I'll never get a birthday present of my own ever again as everybody will
be spoiling Jayden. (On another negative note: it means that instead of me taking a day off and opening presents
it means that I'm a few hundred quid down because I am the one going out buying presents for him!!!)
Still.... I wouldn't change things for the world.
